Morriston Business Hub is about providing good, flexible, easy to access working spaces in heritage buildings in Morriston.
Spaces where you can do business, a change of scenery from the ‘home office’, or a place to study.
65 Woodfield Street is a large building providing open places spaces on the ground and first floors. Built of local materials, from copper slag breeze blocks to Graig Morriston brick, you are sitting in the fabric of the Lower Swansea Valley. Previously Uriel Rees Iron Mongers, B&S Spares, and furniture or carpet shops, the building is now arranged as flexible workspace. The large first floor windows give great views towards Kilvey Hill and the surrounding valleys, a great space for a meeting or just to sit and read or work. The iconic ‘Will’s Gold Flake’ advert dating back to the 1930s greets everyone that drives into the town.
91 Woodfield Street is said to be the oldest building on Woodfield Street, dating back to the 1780s, one of the original workers cottages. A small but comfortable space to complement the larger areas available in 65 Woodfield Street. The ground floor retail space is available for short term low cost hire if you want to try out a new business idea.
Both buildings have fast broadband available, and spaces can be easily booked for individual or group use. Memberships are available at competitive rates, and include hot drinks or printing, and access to meeting rooms.
Other spaces are also available by arrangement with other local venues.
